Hi! I’m Whitney, and if there’s one thing to know about me as a therapist, it’s how much I genuinely love connecting with people. I believe healing happens in safe, meaningful relationships, and creating a therapeutic connection that feels real, human, and emotionally attuned is truly my favorite part of this work.
My therapy style
When I am not working
My therapy style is warm, relational, and deeply attuned. I show up with interest and compassion, and I work hard to create a space where you can feel safe, understood, and fully yourself. I always practice from a person‑centered lens, with the foundation of my work rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I draw from attachment‑based and experiential approaches, which means we pay attention to what’s actually happening inside — your reactions, your patterns, and the places where you want to feel more grounded and in control. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, or the impact of trauma, we’ll make space for all of it, and I’ll be right there with you as we sort through what comes up.
When I’m not in the office, I’m usually with my family, working on a project around the house, or planning something fun to look forward to. I love good friends, conversations about football, and anything that brings a little extra joy or meaning into an ordinary day.
